Following recent complaints against the dress codes of certain medical and nursing staffs, the Health Minister has issued a directive to the health management to dress appropriately.
Health Ministry Spokesperson, Ilesa Tora said they have received complaints from the public and they have also observed the dress codes of their staff.
Tora said staff should dress professionally and systems have been put in place to ensure that this happens in all hospitals and health centers.
Meanwhile, Minister Dr Neil Sharma has directed that the technology staffs should have their white coats and identification cards while at work and that nurses should be dressed without excessive jewellery.
