The Health Ministry is now tightening its area of service to ensure that people get the best of services in hospitals and health centres.
Ministry spokesperson Iliesa Tora said that they have sent memos to all the Department Heads asking them to monitor the efficiency and dedication of their employees.
He said employees in hospitals spending more than half an hour on tea breaks will be strictly dealt with.
Tora said it would be no use having new equipment at the hospitals when the service provided to the public is not satisfactory.
The Ministry has purchased 3.8 million dollars worth of Medical, Surgical, Dental, X-ray and Laboratory equipment from Korea.
