Unexpected resignations of medical personnel have caused a major shortage of staff within the Health Ministry and efforts are being made to ensure more services are not affected around the country.
Ministry Spokesperson Iliesa Tora said the closure of the outpatient services at the CWM Hospital Pediatrics Units from next Monday is due to the shortage of staff brought on by resignations.
Tora said steps are being taken to try and solve this problem as soon as possible.
According to Tora they hope to have adequate number of doctors and nurses at all hospitals and health centers by early October.
