The Ministry of Health will now have more access to the people living with mental health issues with a new vehicle donated by the Australian government.
The Deputy Secretary for Public Health Dr Joe Koroivueta while receiving the keys from the Counselor for the Australian Aid Program in Fiji, Sarah Goulding, thanked the Australian government for the timely assistance.
Dr Koroivueta said that lack of transport is one of the many problems faced by the Ministry and the donation will go a long way in ensuring that they are able to do their work efficiently.
He also hopes that Australian assistance will continue so that people of Fiji get quality health care service.
