The Interim Minister for Health is hopeful that her Ministry will get a significant increase in their allocation when the 2009 Budget is announced.
Doctor Jiko Luveni said they have put forward several issues in their submissions for an increase in allocation which she is hoping will be taken into account when the budget is prepared.
Dr Luveni said her Ministry is expecting a significant increase.
Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister's Office, Parmesh Chand had earlier confirmed that the date has been set for the Interim Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama to make the budget address, on the 28th of November.
