The Ministry of Health has been praised by the United Nations Fund for Population for assisting in the distribution of contraceptives throughout the Pacific.
Director Pacific Sub-Regional Office, Najib Assifi said Fiji has set the pace and with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Health and UNFPA, he said the Pacific is at an advantage.
This will see the old Pharmacy warehose in Suva city centre to be used as a bulk for contraceptives and when the need arises they will send them to other Pacific Nations.
