The 10 member group put together by the Ministry of Health to look into outsourcing their Health Services has finalized a redundancy package for those who choose to be laid off.

The group which had already started their work at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital will as a last resort offer redundancy packages to these workers.

Taskforce member and the Spokeswoman for the Ministry, Vasiti Ritova confirms that for those who cannot be placed in other sections, they will offer a package of 3 months pay plus two weeks pay for every year of service.

The Taskforce has been commissioned to outsource " non-core" work such as security and laundry services, making sure that no-one looses their jobs but is redeployed to other sections where their skills could be better used.

This week the team will be in the West.
