This week marks the 40th anniversary for the "International Week for the right to family planning" and to mark it the Ministry of Health and the United Nations Population Fund will be signing a memorandum of Understanding today allowing people in Fiji access to family planning packs.

Speaking to Fijivillage news, Director Pacific Sub-Regional Office, Najib Assifi said the MOU will see teenage pregnancy become less of a hassle to society as this will only be possible through the Ministry providing reproductive health commodities to youths for the next five years.

Assifi said this is part of UNFPA's commitment.
