Staffing, housing, equipment and maintenance work will be the focus of a team from the Ministry of Health that will be heading to the north this Monday.

The group that will be headed by the Interim Minister for Health Doctor Jiko Luveni will visit all the Ministry's stations in the Division.

Media Liaison Officer for the Ministry Vasiti Ritova said the Minister has noted that for the past years, Fiji's budget allocation is low compared to their Pacific neighbors and therefore has noted that this may not be enough to meet the demands for maintenance.

The ministerial team will be heading to all the Ministry's stations in the three divisions in Macuata, Bua and Cakaudrove. The team has already visited the west, Lau and been through the central-eastern division.
