Jarryd Hayne has become the most wanted player in NRL's open market after the Penrith Panthers failed to sign a $5 million deal with Jonathan Thurston yesterday.
Parramatta Eels new head coach Ricky Stuart said that everyone wants Hayne but they will not let him out of their sight.
In the wake of Hayne's opening round three try performance against the Warriors, Hayne's manager Wayne Beavis met with Parramatta yesterday to discuss what he called “ongoing negotiations”.
Jarryd Hayne is currently earning $500,000 Australian dollars in a year.
Meanwhile the Parramatta Eels will face the Bulldogs tonight at 9.05pm.
