Jarryd Hayne has been reunited with the Fiji national side, performing a stirring traditional hymn with the Pacific Island’s Rugby 7s squad at the jersey presentation ahead of the Sydney 7s tournament this weekend.

Hayne, who turned out for the country of his father’s birth at the 2008 Rugby League World Cup, is back in Sydney after completing a mixed first season in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers.
The former Parramatta Eels star and dual Dally M award winner has retained a strong bond with the Fiji setup after he was selected to play in the Centenary World Cup when snubbed by Australia following a rare below‑par season in Western Sydney.
Fiji, the second ranked side in the competition, have been drawn in Pool C for the event, which will be played across this weekend at the Allianz Arena, alongside Argentina, Samoa and France.
