Just under two years after walking away from the NRL to chase a dream of playing in America’s NFL, Jarryd Hayne will return to rugby league today.
The Gold Coast Titans will put Hayne straight into the action in a crucial home clash with the Warriors.
This is just days after he signed a multi‑million dollar two‑year deal.
It will be Hayne’s first NRL appearance since Parramatta’s 33‑20 loss to Canberra in September 2014.
The 28‑year‑old will start the match from the bench.
The Titans sit seventh on the ladder.
Meanwhile, the Titans will meet the Warriors at 4 this afternoon.
