The Hayne Plane was in full service last night as Parramatta Eels started putting their 2012 NRL wooden spoon behind them with a 40-10 opening round thumping of the Warriors.
New Eels coach Ricky Stuart said no one sparkled brighter than the much maligned duo Jarryd Hayne scoring a hat-trick of tries and Sandow piling on 16 points.
Meanwhile in other matches, the Cowboys beat the Bulldogs 24-12.
In tonight's clash, the Panthers will face the Raiders at 3pm, Storm against the Dragons at 4pm while the Sharks will meet the Titans at 7.30pm.
