Former Vodafone Fiji Bati fullback Jarryd Hayne was in tears last night after New South Wales ended Queensland’s 8 year hold on the State of Origin title with a 6-4 win.
Hayne was in top form as his try saving tackle on Sam Thaiday was the turning point of the game.
It was an entertaining match of rugby league as both sides came with some crunching tackles.
New South Wales play maker Trent Hodkinson scored the winning try 10 minutes from fulltime and gave the Blues the much needed victory while Jonathan Thurston kicked two penalties for Queensland.
