Hayne is known as the "Player of the World", was crowned Australia's best rugby league player after he was awarded the "Dally M Player of the Year".
Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd presented the Parramatta fullback with his medal in a glittering ceremony at Sydney's State Theatre last night, after which Hayne was also named fullback of the year.
