Former Vodafone Fiji Bati fullback and Parramatta Eels skipper Jarryd Hayne has been cleared off any breach of NRL rules for his criticism of the match officials in Sunday's last minute loss to Manly at Brookvale Oval.

Hayne labelled referee Jared Maxwell's decision as “disgraceful”.

There had been suggestions that Hayne faced a $10,000 fine from the NRL but the Eels superstar will escape sanction as he did not overstep the guidelines for criticizing match referees.

Meanwhile the Storm defeated the Knights 28-20 last night.
