All Blacks coach Steve Hansen is set to receive a contract offer which will keep him in his job until the next World Cup.

Despite guiding New Zealand to World Cup glory in England last year, Hansen indicated, at the time, that he is unlikely to be in his position when they defend their title in 2019.

That view has led to leading players and New Zealand Rugby saying they want him to stay on in his position and it appears that Hansen is considering to do just that.

New Zealand Rugby chief executive Steve Tew revealed that they are negotiating a new deal with Hansen.

Tew said that Hansen has indicated that staying on to 2019 is something he would seriously consider.
