Digicel Sevens Team halfback Nemia Kenatale is out of the New Zealand Sevens.
Coach Iliesa Tanivula said the decision was made yesterday as Kenatale was carrying a niggling injury from a previous match.
Tanivula added the team has been briefed about the decision and have taken on the services of Watisoni Votu.
Meanwhile, the team flew out of the country from Nadi bound for New Zealand this morning and will have some training runs before the end of the day.
Fiji has been drawn in the same pool as Samoa, USA and the Cook Islands and will take on USA in their opening game at 12.44pm this Friday.
