The Hakwa 10s Tournament will kick-off this weekend with 32 teams as part of the preparations to the World 10's tournament.

Nadroga Rugby Union President Tiko Matawalu said they are trying this concept to model out for FRU to adopt and may improve the local 7s tournaments as well as 10s tournaments in the country.

Some prominent clubs that will be taking part are Gaunavou, Ratu Filise and Outrigger.

The Hakwa 10’s kick off at 8am this Friday with Gaunavou taking on Outrigger in the first match.
