An 18yr old boy charged with two counts of larceny and office breaking and entering has been remanded in custody till next week.

For the first count of larceny, on 26th April Krishneel Nand who is a hair dresser, stole his client's mobile phone valued at $700. He pleaded guilty and asked the court for forgiveness and was bound over on a sum of $200 for 12 months.

However, he was remanded in custody for the offence of larceny,  office breaking and entering.

The court heard that he allegedly broke into a computer shop on 28th April and stole a laptop, a processing chip and hard drive to a total value of $8000. Items worth $5000 was recovered by Police and Nand pleaded guilty to the charges.

He has been remanded in custody till the 28th of May for sentencing.
