Residents of Nasau in Wainibuka have reported experiencing a hail storm which lasted for twenty minutes in the last hour.
Ateca Tikoinasau told Fijivillage that she started to worry when the rain started pounding heavily on their roof tops, and when she looked outside she saw hail.
Tikoinasau said some houses sustained damages.
Similar reports were received from Naivicula District School teacher Kelera Manuduitagi who said they too received similar hail storm.
Nadi Weather Office Deputy Director Alipate Waqaicelua said they have not received any reports of hail storms, but the current weather being experienced can result in some places experiencing hail storms.
