Bryan Habana is expecting a huge physical battle against Samoa as they seek to secure their place in the last eight today.

He said it is pretty tough against some of the island teams and that first 20 minutes against Samoa in 2007 was some of the toughest test match rugby he has ever played.

Habana said so many Samoan players are in the European leagues and that makes them a much improved side.

The Samoa and South Africa match kicks off at 7.30 tonight in Auckland.

Meanwhile, IRB has suspended two of England’s coaches for the World Cup game against Scotland on Saturday.

Kicking coach Dave Alred and fitness specialist Paul Stridgeon were found to have switched the ball Jonny Wilkinson was due to kick with during England’s 67-3 win over Romania without asking the permission of referee Romain Poite.

The two were suspended because switching balls during a match contravened “both the laws of the game and the spirit of the game”.

They have been banned from entering Eden Park.
