With the number of reported cases of HIV/Aids increasing gradually in the country, it has been confirmed that the exact number of people who may be infected can not be determined.
Regional Director UNAID's Stuart Watson says while more people are now getting tested, there is no data to confirm the infection rate in Fiji.
The Health Ministry confirmed 8 new cases of HIV/Aids last week taking the figures to 259 reported cases.
The national Advisory Committee on Aids is pooling resources to combat the rise in the pandemic.
