HIV/AIDS has a big bearing on the community including the businesses and there is a need to fight against it.
This is the message given to the Fiji Australia Business Council by the incoming president Wyllie Clark at the Radisson Resort on Denarau this morning.
Mobile Company Digicel has sponsored the Business Against HIV/AIDS Foundation for $150,000 and will give $50,000 each year. Clark said he is pleased with the sponsorship as HIV is becoming a part of businesses too.
Meanwhile, the outgoing president of FABC Caz Tebbut Dennis said that it is important the private sector has an appropriate response in the spread of HIV/AIDS.
