HIV Aids high on festival agenda
Fiji Alumni president and national organizing committee member for the Pacific Youth Festival Jacob Itautoka said one of the topics that will be discussed at the festival next month is “Promoting Healthy Living.”
Itautoka said discussions on HIV Aids will be high on the agenda.
Youth and speakers from Kiribati, Tonga, Nauru, the Federated States of Micronesia, Samoa, Cook Islands, Marshall Islands, PNG, Vanuatu, Tuvalu and Wallis and Futuna will attend the festival.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that the president of East Timor Jose Ramos Horta, president of Nauru Steven Marcus, Senator Samoasa of Papua New Guinea and the minister for Community Development Responsible for Youth in PNG Dame Carol Kidu, will be attending the Youth Festival.
The official opening is on July 11th.
