This Christmas will be a very special one for the children at the HART homes and at the Nadi Hospital as they will be visited by a Santa Claus all the way from Australia.
Frequent visitor to Fiji, Margaret Stone of Brisbane who has been coming to Fiji handing out gifts to needy children every Christmas for the past 5 years said that she will be breaking the mold today and dressing up as Santa to bring smiles to the needy.
Stone has been carrying out a gift drive in Australia and today will hand it out to the children.
Speaking to Fijivillage after touching down in Nadi, Stone said for her Christmas is a time to give back to those people that have been tirelessly helping others throughout the year.
Meanwhile, yesterday she met up with 14 year old Asalemo Drotini who is a deaf and mute cane cutter from Seaqaqa.
His Christmas was made special as it was through Stone that he had his first time got on to a plane and spent a night in a hotel.
Stone will be handing out gifts in Lautoka and Nadi today before she flies back to Brisbane to spend time with her family.
