HA to provide close to 2000 housing lots
The planned project will see 1,050 single developed housing lots and 900 housing units being built by China Railway First Limited.
The Project is part of Housing Authority's five year plans for the Central, Eastern and Western Divisions which will see close to two thousand housing units in Tacirua East.
The project was made possible after a seventy million dollar soft loan from the Exim Bank of China and will see the construction of low, middle and high end lots, as well as a commercial centre with supermarkets, service stations, retails outlets and 10 to 12 industrial lots.
Meanwhile, the project is expected to take 44 months to complete with 900 families to be assisted by the development.
The Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama will officiate at the ceremony this morning in Tacirua East Stage 2.
