Today will mark a major milestone for the Housing Authority of Fiji in its bid to provide affordable housing for low income earners in the country.
Housing Authority will sign a commercial contract with China Railway First Company Limited for the construction of low cost housing on 184 acres of land in Tacirua stage two.
The Housing Authority said this will see the development of sustainable, safe and secure local communities, especially for low to middle income families, through provisions of safe, affordable and adequate land housing.
The signing ceremony will be held at 10am this morning at Valelevu.
