The Housing Authority is now looking at embarking on a multimillion dollar project nationwide that will see more affordable houses made available for low to middle income owners.
Acting chairman of the Housing Authority Board Ratu Jo Nawalowalo said that this project that they are looking at will be done through partnership with business houses.
Nawalowalo said that the Authority will be joining into ventures with reliable local and international investors and that the projects will cost around $300-$500 million.
At the moment, the Authority is set to begin construction of 900 single units and 1,050 flats in Cunningham Stage 2.
This huge housing project is through the $50 million loan from the EXIM Bank of China.
