Good news for residents in the West as the Housing Authority is now focusing on new developments in the area.
Acting CEO Alipate Naiorosui said that they have identified some vacant lots in Natadola as well as in Field 40 which they will be developing once the loan from the Chinese Exim Bank comes through.
With the assistance from the Chinese bank, a total of 3000 people will be housed in the new lots in the Central Division namely, in Nepani and Tacirua while with a few hundred planned to be housed in the West.
Meanwhile, authorities are keeping a tight lip on the final signing of the planned $70 million dollar deal with the PRB and Housing Authority.
