The Labour Ministry in conjunction with the National Taskforce on H1N1 will this week come up with a policy on how to deal with the H1N1 flu in the workplace.

Acting permanent secretary Osea Cawaru and Health Ministry spokesperson Iliesa Tora both confirmed a decision on the policy will be finalized this week.

Cawaru earlier said this policy shall be a guide for employers adding they should amend whatever they currently have to suit their particular workplaces depending on the nature of their business.

Meanwhile, the first four patients recorded to have the virus have fully recovered.

The Health Ministry said the number of H1N1 cases still stands at 19 and 15 confirmed cases are still receiving treatment and are doing well.
