The Clinical Manual which contains H1N1 treatment procedures will be finalized soon and this will be distributed to all clinicians.

This had been confirmed by the Health Ministry as Fiji goes into its winter season with all health facilities around the country on full alert for the virus.

Ministry Spokesperson Iliesa Tora said they are keeping an eye out for the virus and have conducted training in the West and the North, getting their service ready.

Tora also said the 5 confirmed New Zealand cases, three confirmed South Korea cases and 214 confirmed in Canada, are worrying because flights get into our country from these places.

The WHO has reported that 25 countries have officially reported 2,500 cases of H1N1. Mexico, the point of origin for the virus has reported 44 deaths.
