Police are questioning a man in relation to a gun that was sold
to the owner of Lokia Shopping Centre in Suva.

Deputy Director Operations SSP Erami Raibe said Police are still interrogating the man however he adds that it cannot be said at this stage if the man being questioned is a suspect in this matter.

The gun was brought in by the shopkeeper at the Central Police Station on Wednesday which he brought on the streets for $200 which was fully loaded and was in operational order.

Police are pleading to the public to be vigilant and to report to their nearest Police Station if anyone is seen keeping dangerous items like guns at home.
