Zac Guildford made a winning return as the Crusaders overwhelmed the Southern Kings 55-20 in a lopsided Super Rugby match at Christchurch.

The Crusaders hammered South African opponents for the second straight game, running in seven tries to two, with six of them going to forwards.

It reflected the dominance of the home pack against a Kings side who spent most of the night defending in suffering a third successive defeat.

Meanwhile, in other matches last night the Reds beat the Bulls 23-18, Cheetahs defeated Force 19-10, Sharks beat Rebels 65-7 while the Stormers ended the Brumbies unbeaten run 35-22.
