Rugby bad boy Zac Guildford has been welcomed back into the Crusaders team.

The 24-year-old was back with his team mates at A-MI Stadium last night and afterwards it was revealed the part he’d played in inspiring them to a much needed 41-19 victory over the Bulls.

Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder and skipper Kieran Read both confirmed their errant wing had provided some crucial inspiration in the lead up to the match.

Blackadder said with Guildford back, they felt like they were a family, a team again for the very first time.

Meanwhile, Read also said that Guildford’s speech to the team had been “huge” and it certainly came from the heart because the boys really appreciated it.

Looking matches played last night the Reds lost to the Force 19-12 while this morning the Brumbies beat the Sharks 29-10.

Brumbies still lead the points table with 23 points, second is the Chiefs with 17 while Bulls are on 13.

The Chiefs will take on the Highlanders this Friday at 6.35pm.
