Any guest speaker, NGO, Cadet Trainer and even school managers have to register first with the Teachers Registration Board.
That is the stand of the Board Chief executive, Albert Soderberg addressing the over 120 school principals this afternoon.
Addressing the senior teachers, Soderberg reminded them that the Fiji Teachers Registration Board has been gazetted by Government and therefore it is a law.
Soderberg revealed that this covers the National Fire Authority who come to schools for fire safety drills, cadet trainers and members of the RFMF as well as any special guest speaker.
So far a total of 11795 teachers have been registered with the teacher’s registration board.
