A group of men beat up some nightclub patrons and snatched their valuable items including cash last weekend.
Eyewitnesses have told us that it seemed like a planned attack by the group to rob the people who were going to the nightclub in Suva on Friday night.
People standing outside two nightclubs were targetted.
We have been informed that a number of men and women were attacked by the robbers.
Their wallets, handbags and other items were snatched by the group.
The bouncers of the second nightclub got everyone inside and blocked the group from entering the nightspot.
Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says she cannot confirm specific details however two people were taken to hospital.
She says two people were also taken in for questioning however they were released as the complainants did not come forward with the medical reports.
