Two Australian rugby world superstars will be the brand ambassadors in this year’s Fiji International.
Minister for Tourism, Faiyaz Koya confirmd that these will be George Gregan and Lote Tuqiri.
Koya said that having Gregan and Tuqiri will boost and broaden the event to countries around the world.
He said that Vijay Singh will also return for this year’s competition and this will not only boost Fiji’s position as a must go destination but also fill the capacity to host world class events.
Koya added that the prize money has increased by 30% from AUS$1.1 million to AUS$1.5 million.
The Fiji International will be held at the Natadola Bay Championship Golf Club from the 6th to the 9th of October.
