Tui Cakau Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu has given the green light for the People's Charter Public Relations Team to visit his traditional domain.
NCBBF spokesperson Filimoni Kau said the decision was indeed positive and should be applauded. Kau said that Cakaudrove is one of the few provinces which had taken a while to approve the awareness program for the people. He added it is imperative that the people at all levels get to hear about the People's Charter process before making a decision on its merits and demerits.
Meanwhile, the two week public relations program includes visiting the 140 villages on the mainland and the islands, distributing and ensuring that the villagers read the Consultation Document, preparating the State of the National Economy report, explaining the Charter process and the submissions from the people.
The five PR teams are led by Kisoko Cagituevei and Ilisapeci Tamanisau.
