Sevens fans are expected to be treated with some great clashes at the Bayley's Fiji Coral Coast 7s as many of the top teams will face off in the cup qaurterfinals later this morning.
Davetalevu with the services of several of the Nadroga players will take on defending champs Redrock at 11.15am. The two sides met in pool play where Red Rock defeated Davetalevu 21-12.
At 11.35 Police meet Army while a star studded Serevi Select side will face a young Tale Babas team who defied all odds to remain unbeaten in the pool stages.
Central Coast 7s champions Northern Surburbs will take on Yamacia in the last quarter final at 12.15pm
Meanwhile, All Blacks 7s Coach Sir Gordon Tietjen says it’s hard to see which team is the favorite and defense will play a crucial role in the elimination stages.
Looking at the results from the last round of pool games, Red Rock beat Daveta 21-12, Wardens Gold defeated Yamacia 24-7, Police beat Pakuranga 24-7 and Tale Babas beat Tribe 35-5.
The Cup semifinals will start at 4pm and the final is scheduled for 7:30pm.
