Grants will continue to be given to primary and secondary schools in the country throughout this week. 

Permanent Secretary for Education Dr. Brij Lal said a total of 898 schools will receive grants by this Friday.

The Ministry of Education has already provided 415 schools with their term one school grants.

The grants will be used for administration and office operation, building and compound maintenance, I.T, computers and vocational materials, library books and text books, physical education, arts, music and science equipment and stationery.                                                                  
Dr Lal added the heads of the eligible schools still need to submit their audited report for 2013 by 31st May to ensure they receive their allocations for terms two and three on time.
