The ousted Opposition Leader agrees with Former Vice President Ratu Joni Madraiwiwi in his speech at the Annual Pacific Co-operation Foundation in Auckland, that immunity be given to the 2006 coup perpetrators, however, it should be conditional.
Mick Beddoes said if a person granted immunity breaches certain conditions then the full brunt of the law comes into force.
Beddoes said he understands that immunity will be part of a necessary process in moving forward.
