Investigations continue into the deaths of a 17 year old of Malawai Dreketi and also that of a 19 year old who was a suspect in her murder.
The 17-year old teenager's grandfather is still in a state of shock following her hacking to death on Sunday night.
One of the family members Bas Deo said the deceased had gone to deliver dinner to her grandfather when she was attacked with a cane knife.
She received injuries to her neck and hands.
The grandfather was working as a security officer on a farm and did not know that he would be seeing her for the last time.
Deo said they were informed about the incident by one of the family members who heard the teenager screaming.
He said the girl was some 100 meters away from the home and by the time they reached the scene, it was too late.
Deo said the deceased was employed and was supposed to get married in December this year adding that they will miss her as she was a well behaved teenager.
The deceased was the only child and for the past three years she was being looked after by the grandfather.
The incident has shocked the whole community.
Meanwhile, the suspect was found dead yesterday and police are trying to ascertain the motive behind the incident.
