Grammarians from around Fiji and the world have started to arrive for 50th Golden Jubilee Celebrations which is set to kick off with a march through the streets of Suva tomorrow morning.
On 9 February 1960, the Boys and Girls Grammar Schools joined forces to form what is now known as Suva Grammar School at Veiuto.
As the five decades prepare for what is to be a week filled with exciting events ranging from a march and torch relay through Suva city, SGS 60's decade representative Lyndall Fisher said some who have never been back to Fiji since their school days are making the trip back just for the jubilee celebrations.
SGS 90's decade representative Selina Kuruleca said it will be a time to look back at what they achieved during their time at school.
The week long Jubilee Celebration kicks off tomorrow morning with a march and fair, and events held throughout next week till the 31st of July.
