"It is time to give back to Grammar"

That is the main focus from the five decades of former Grammarians starting from the 1960's to 2000 in light of the weeklong 50th Golden Jubilee Celebration which is going to be a grand event and will be held in the capital next month.

The school was established on 9th February 1960, where the Boys and Girls Grammar schools joined forces to form what is now known as Suva Grammar school at Veiuto.

The Golden Jubilee was officially launched by its patron, Gerald Barrack in August, last year.

A commemoration event was held at the school in February this year marking the actual day when Suva Grammar became a co-education school and groups of former students have held fundraising events to prepare for the Golden Jubilee Celebrations.

At the first press conference yesterday, SGS Ex-students Association member Selina Kuruleca said the response has been very good from the ex-students abroad.
