If you see government cars dropping off or even picking school children up from school, make sure you report this as civil servants are now being taken to task.
The Finance Ministry revealed in the past three months alone, 5 cases of abuse of government vehicles have been lodged with the Transport Unit and they expect this number to increase.
Police also revealed that if any of their cars are seen to be abused, a complaint should be lodged because their officers have been briefed.
Spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri said the offenders will be penalized and pay for the fuel however if it is a serious offense then the person would have to pay for damages.
