The government is trying its best to see that all imported products have proper labeling and have adequate information about the ingredients written on it, in a language that everyone can understand.

Attorney General and Minister for Commerce Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum while opening the Symposium on Consumerism and Market Economies at the Fiji National University this morning, said that all the products that are imported into the country should meet international standards.

He said Fiji should not be used as a dumping ground.
