Government is now seeing the fruits of its investment.

These are the words of Fiji Prisons Correctional Services Commissioner, Brigadier General Iowane Naivalurua, on the Yellow Ribbon project and its success rate so far.

Naivalurua said so far the men who come into prison, leave as better and more skilled people due to the Yellow Ribbon project.

The Yellow Ribbon Project, launched in October 2008, is a rehabilitation program which was formed, to give inmates a second chance, and teaches them trade skills to help them in the outside world as well as educating the public about their attitudes and behaviour, towards these inmates when they are released.
