Around 200,000 reliant on the Sugar Industry will be happy to know that government is now working on various reforms and plans to improve the industry.
Permanent Secretary for Sugar Manasa Vaniqi said there are plans to renew more expired land leases and to assist farmers through providing them with farming equipment.
He said the government is committed to see that the Sugar Industry performs well and helps in improving the economy.
