To take advantage of the presence of Pacific island leaders who will attend the "Engaging with the Pacific" meeting, the Fiji government has organised a mini trade fair which starts today at the Natadola Intercontinental Golf and Spa Resort.

Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs Solo Mara said the Ministry of Commerce and Fiji Islands Trade and Investment Bureau have invited Fiji and Pacific island companies to display their products and services and also develop trade relations and they have received a good response.

Mara said the economic benefit to Fiji is quite immense and businesses should take advantage of it, especially the manufacturing sector in Fiji.

He said in Fiji, businesses can easily launch their companies into the Pacific Island countries and other countries can come to Fiji.
